I&#8217;m just going to give you a framework and a system, which you will fill with your knowledge and value.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Why do we need this?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>When asked why they <strong>failed to include an email marketing sales funnel<\/strong> in their blog, authors usually give two reasons:<\/p>\n<p><em>Lack of time<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Consistency\/accountability \/ self-discipline issue<\/p>\n<p>This is because a good <strong>email marketing sales funnel<\/strong> should be actually *relevant* to the<strong> post content, not a generic newsletter you send to everyone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>So a lot of blog authors may feel like it&#8217;s going to be way <strong>too much work<\/strong> to create one.<\/p>\n<p>They also feel at a loss on<strong> how to convey the value of their services through an email sequence<\/strong> &#8211; without being salesy.<\/p>\n<p>Since it takes on average <strong>7 points of contact to convert a lead into a paying customer<\/strong>, the authors may also lack confidence in how to break their content down into several steps that would <strong>logically lead the customer to&#8230;the checkout.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Say, you are a <em><strong>health coach<\/strong> <\/em>writing on diverse topics, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>How to deal with emotional eating\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>How to deal with anxiety and insomnia naturally<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When someone is reading a post like that they are looking for <strong>an answer to a *specific* problem<\/strong>. People with insomnia don&#8217;t want to hear about emotional eating (and vice versa).<\/p>\n<p>I mean, you can send them one, but how is going to convince them that you can solve their specific problem?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion: <\/strong>you should create a<strong> separate newsletter sequence <\/strong>that will<strong> &#8216;breadcrumb&#8217; the lead from the post to your checkout <\/strong>for each post <strong>(=\u00a0email marketing sales funnel).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hold on: whaaat?!<\/p>\n<h6>Creating a separate newsletter sequence for each post <em><strong>seems\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em>like a lot of work&#8230;<\/em><\/h6>\n<p>&#8230;but it doesn&#8217;t need to be. As usual, it&#8217;s all about having a clear strategy + a <strong>customizable template<\/strong> you can use<strong> for every email in the sequence<\/strong>, and using <strong>email automation<\/strong>\u00a0to make the sequence come out automatically.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you have a sequence of <strong>4 newsletters + offers<\/strong>, you will end up writing only about 1000 words for each sequence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You can do that in an hour.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s see how.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a universal flowchart of your emails and a template you can use for any \u2018pain-point\u2019 sequence:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1122 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.getanewsletter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/05\/email-marketing-funnel.png\" alt=\"email marketing sales funnel\" width=\"870\" height=\"499\" srcset=\"https:\/\/getanewsletter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/email-marketing-funnel.png 870w, https:\/\/getanewsletter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/email-marketing-funnel-300x172.png 300w, https:\/\/getanewsletter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/email-marketing-funnel-768x440.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 870px) 100vw, 870px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mark that not all warm leads will turn into clients. The flow chart also illustrates that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip No. #1:<\/strong> <strong>Don\u2019t spend time designing fancy newsletter templates.<\/strong> It\u2019s a waste of time.
